LibertasLibertas means freedom and independence, self-determination and free will. It also means a brand of shoes that offer a mix of European elegance, comfort and richness of LA. Libertas launched in the spring of 2005, they evoked a mantra of “it shouldn’t hurt to be sexy” when they created beautifully inspired comfortable shoes. Savannah Auger, the designer of Libertas, was born in London and grew up in the design centers of Italy, England and California. Her shoe line mixes European flair with LA rock and roll with the finest Italian leathers and superior hardware, creating adventurous, confident, feminine and refined shoes.
